sitting here with one eye closed because screens h sitting here with one eye closed because screens hurt (thanks migraine), trying to finish ‘just one more thing’ while simultaneously telling someone else to rest when they need to. the irony isn’t lost on me. funny how easy it is to tell others ‘it’s okay to take breaks’ while i’m over here pushing through perimenopause brain fog, pretending my body isn’t in full rebellion mode. had to literally close my laptop today and remind myself that the world won’t actually end if i don’t finish that notion template right now. that maybe, just maybe, i should take my own advice about working with your reality instead of fighting it. because here’s the thing about grace - we’re so quick to give it to others but act like we need to earn it ourselves. like somehow everyone else deserves rest but we need to power through. currently making peace with the fact that some days my best work happens from a dark room with an ice pack on my head. and maybe that’s actually okay. ...and i’m wondering how many of us are sitting here right now, trying to push through when our bodies are literally begging us to rest ‌ #entrepreneurlife #realitycheck #burnoutrecovery #workingwithmigraine #businessowner #smallbizlife #womeninbusiness #solopreneurlife #contentmanagement #contentforbusiness #contentmarketing

Stop Forcing It⁣ Your content doesn’t need to look like everyone else’s. Can’t talk to camera because social anxiety? Cool, don’t. Hate dancing on reels? Same.
